- Specialist in Internal Medicine, trained at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University – USA.
- Active duty Medical Officer in the United States Air Force (USAF, MC).
- Former Chief of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at MacDill Air Force Base Military Hospital.
- In private practice since 2003, with thousands of patients successfully treated.
- Founder and Medical Director of Ayala Medical Center, a clinic specializing in internal medicine and comprehensive care for patients ages 16 to 104.
- Founder and Medical Director of Raúl Ayala MD PA – Boyette Walk-in Clinic, focused on acute care and medical emergencies.
- Former Medical Director at Cano Health, Riverview, Florida.
- Founder/CEO and Medical Director of MyDoctorOnCall.com, Internal Medicine/Telemedicine.

If you are in Tampa, Lima, or Alicante, house calls or hotel visits can be arranged. These visits may be performed by Dr. Ayala or by another licensed physician affiliated with MyDoctorOnCall (MDOC).
